The ETF (Exchange-Traded Fund) market has exceeded 5 trillion yuan, achieving a breakthrough in growth.

Since the beginning of the year, the size of ETFs has rapidly increased. As of the close of trading on September 4th, the total market size of ETFs reached 5.02 trillion yuan, an increase of 1.29 trillion yuan compared to the end of 2024, an increase of over 34%. The total number of shares reached 28.9 trillion shares, an increase of 239.717 billion shares compared to the end of last year. Among them, financial ETFs and robotics ETFs are the industries and thematic index ETFs with the largest increase in shares during the same period.
