Strong winds and heavy rain expected to hit the northern part of Hainan Island, causing the suspension of operations for the "Three Ports" in Haikou starting from 2 p.m. on the 7th.
Hainan Provincial Meteorological Observatory issued the latest forecast on the morning of the 7th, stating that Typhoon "Taba", the 16th typhoon of the year, will bring strong winds and rain to the northern part of Hainan Island. The Traffic and Transportation Bureau and Port Authority of Haikou City issued a notice at 8 o'clock on the same day, stating that Haikou New Port, Xiuying Port, and the South Railway Port will cease operation starting at 14:00 on the 7th.
