Italian Minister: Italy and Europe have good levels of natural gas reserves.

Italian Minister of Energy stated on Saturday that the natural gas reserves level in Europe is "good", and added that Italy's own natural gas reserves are close to the EU's target of 90%. "We are confident in the situation of natural gas reserves, especially in Italy... Europe's reserves level is also good, although slightly lower than Italy's," the Italian Minister of Energy said at the TEHA Forum in Chernobio. When asked if Italy may increase imports of liquefied natural gas from the United States, he stated that currently importing LNG from the US has a "cost advantage", and whether to increase imports will depend on the price.
