According to the monitoring and forecast of the meteorological department, the current tropical depression in the South China Sea will strengthen into the 16th typhoon of the year, further impacting Guangdong. The Guangdong Provincial Flood Control, Drought Relief and Wind Control Headquarters has initiated a level IV wind prevention emergency response at 12:00 on the 6th. The Guangdong Provincial Meteorological Observatory forecasted that from the 7th to the 9th, the wind force in the central and northern parts of the South China Sea and the central and western parts of Guangdong will gradually increase to 8 to 10 levels, with gusts up to 12 levels. From the 8th to the 9th, there will be a severe wind and rain process on land in Guangdong.
