The Zhongxing 9C satellite is officially commissioned, and China's dedicated satellite for broadcasting and television has achieved full domestic production.

On the evening of September 4th to the early morning of September 5th, Zhongxing-9C completed the takeover of Zhongxing-9 satellite's broadcasting and television business. Zhongxing-9C satellite is a broadcast and television-specific live satellite, using the self-developed Dongfanghong-4 enhanced satellite platform, equipped with national beams, sea beams, western beams, and mobile beams, with overall performance fully optimized, payload capacity and power significantly increased, business carrying capacity, national margins, and territorial waters coverage effectively improved. Zhongxing-9C satellite's beam and frequency band design is flexible and diverse, meeting the future needs of coordinated development of live satellite and broadcast television. The satellite will provide sufficient orbital resources for the development of live satellite high-definition and ultra-high-definition services, providing more high-quality and rich audiovisual services for 154 million live satellite users.
