Qualcomm and BMW launch a new self-driving system, which will be equipped in the new BMW iX3 global debut.

On September 5th local time, Qualcomm announced a collaboration with BMW Group to launch the new autonomous driving system, Snapdragon Ride Pilot, which was developed jointly over three years. This autonomous driving system is based on Qualcomm's Snapdragon Ride system-level chip and is equipped with the Snapdragon Ride autonomous driving software stack developed by both companies. Qualcomm stated that the system was globally launched in the new BMW iX3 model on the 5th and has already completed certification for over 60 countries worldwide. It is expected to expand to over 100 countries by 2026.
