Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon stated that Intel's current production technology has not yet reached the supplier standards of mobile processor manufacturers. Amon said in the program that if Intel could improve its manufacturing process to produce more energy-efficient chips, Qualcomm would consider working with them. "Intel is currently not our choice," Amon admitted, "but we hope to include it in our choices in the future." The CEO said Qualcomm will continue to cooperate with its existing foundries, TSMC and Samsung Electronics. As a chip design company, Qualcomm, like most companies in the industry, adopts an outsourced production model. Meanwhile, Intel, once the world's largest chip manufacturer, is trying to attract external customers like Qualcomm to reverse its decline and maintain its own chip manufacturing business.
