Singaporean President announces national policies for the next five years.

On the evening of the 5th, Singapore President Tan attaman stated in parliament on the government's policy direction for the next five years that, faced with a more turbulent situation, Singapore's top priority is to ensure national security and maintain Singapore's position in the international community, continue to strengthen defense capabilities to counter emerging threats. Tan also said that Singapore will continue to promote ASEAN integration, support reform of the United Nations and the World Trade Organization, ensure multilateralism, deepen cooperation with other countries, and promote trade and investment. As global competition intensifies, in order to enhance Singapore's position as a trusted hub, the government has updated its economic strategy, encouraged more people to transition to artificial intelligence, and supported more businesses in developing sustainable solutions.
