The storage index of China in August was 49.3%, a slight decrease of 0.8 percentage points compared to the previous month.

According to the latest information from the Securities Times APP, on September 5th, the China Warehousing Index jointly investigated by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing and China Merchants Development Co., Ltd. was 49.3% in August 2025, a decrease of 0.8 percentage points from the previous month. In terms of sub-indices, compared with the previous month, the average inventory turnover index and business activity expectation index have both increased by 0.4 and 2.5 percentage points respectively. The new order index, end-of-period inventory index, and enterprise employee index have all decreased, with declines ranging from 0.5 to 2.1 percentage points.
