NVIDIA invests $1.5 billion to lease GPU servers featuring their own chips from Lambda.

According to reports, Lambda, a small artificial intelligence cloud service provider that is preparing to go public, has recently received strong support from its NVIDIA. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that this summer, NVIDIA agreed to lease 10,000 GPU servers equipped with NVIDIA's own AI chips from Lambda for four years, with a total value of $1.3 billion. In addition, NVIDIA has also reached another $200 million deal with the company to lease 8,000 servers equipped with NVIDIA chips, with the specific timing yet to be determined. These contracts will make NVIDIA Lambda's largest customer.
