Avride is ramping up its autonomous driving testing in Dallas, planning to launch self-driving rental cars through Uber.

On September 4th local time, the autonomous driving technology company Avride announced that it is expanding its testing of autonomous vehicles in Dallas, Texas, USA to prepare for the launch of self-driving taxi services through the Uber platform. Avride reached a partnership with Uber in October of last year and in November became the first to launch delivery robot services on Uber Eats platform in Austin, and later expanded to Dallas and Jersey City.
