On the afternoon of September 3, Chen Jinghe, the chairman of Zijin Mining, met with visiting Serbian President Vucic in Beijing. President Vucic stated that Zijin Mining's major investment projects in Serbia have effectively driven the revival and upgrading of the Serbian mining industry, making it an important pillar for the continuous economic growth of the eastern region of Serbia and even the entire country. The Serbian government has always considered Zijin as one of the most important partners and is willing to carry out more practical cooperation with Zijin in the areas of resource exploration and development, smelting and processing, trade and sales, and environmental protection, looking forward to Zijin creating more job opportunities in Serbia. The Serbian government attaches great importance to the demands of Zijin Mining and will further increase efforts to provide support and assistance for the better and faster development of the company.
