The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the State Administration for Market Regulation issued the "Action Plan for Stable Growth in the Electronic Information Manufacturing Industry in 2025-2026".

In 2025-2026, the main expected goals are: the average growth rate of value added in the computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry with a scale above designated level will be around 7%, and with the addition of lithium batteries, photovoltaics and component manufacturing in related fields, the annual revenue growth rate of the electronic information manufacturing industry will reach over 5%. By 2026, it is expected to maintain the top position in terms of revenue scale and export proportion among the 41 industrial categories, with the electronic information manufacturing industry in five provinces achieving revenue of over one trillion yuan, the server industry exceeding 400 billion yuan, the domestic market penetration rate of 75-inch and above color TVs exceeding 40%, and personal computers and mobile phones transitioning towards intelligence and high-end.
