Xi Jinping meets with Congolese President Sassou

On the afternoon of September 4th, President Xi Jinping of China met with the President of Congo, Sassou, who was in China to attend the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. The two leaders announced the elevation of bilateral relations to a high-level community of shared destiny between China and Congo.
