A manpower agency told the reporter from Caixin that currently, for those who apply in the morning, if they pass the interview, they do not need a physical examination and can start working at the Foxconn factory in the afternoon. Due to the current peak season of product production, workers should be prepared for overtime. In terms of wages, the hourly wages for workers recruited by these companies are significantly higher than other similar factories. For example, the hourly wage at Lens Technology, located outside Guangdong province, is 37 yuan/hour, while Bern Optics, located in Huizhou, Guangdong, offers 33 yuan/hour, the highest within the province. In contrast, hourly wages for non-fruit chain factories within Guangdong province are mostly below 25 yuan/hour.
