Trump will host Zuckerberg and other tech company CEOs in the newly renovated Rose Garden.

Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Apple CEO Tim Cook, and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, along with other tech industry leaders, are expected to attend an artificial intelligence event hosted by the First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump, on Thursday local time, followed by a dinner reception hosted by President Donald Trump in the newly renovated Rose Garden. A White House official stated that other attendees are expected to include Sam Altman from OpenAI, Sergey Brin and Sundar Pichai from Alphabet, and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates. Alexandr Wang, who recently joined the Meta AI project, is also among the invitees. The First Lady announced last month that she will launch a Presidential Challenge to encourage students to use emerging AI technology to find solutions to community challenges. The White House stated that the plan will also encourage educators to incorporate AI in the classroom.
