Guangdong responds to the prohibition of primary school teaching materials entering school campuses: There is no issue of students not being allowed to bring their own learning materials to school.
Recently, the Education Department of Guangdong Province issued a notice on further regulating the management of teaching materials in primary and secondary schools across the province. Regarding whether there is a regulation prohibiting "teaching materials from entering the campus of primary schools," the notice states that the policy stipulates that education administrative departments at all levels and schools are not allowed to recommend, collectively subscribe, or purchase any teaching materials for primary school students. No unit or individual is allowed to enter schools to promote, recommend, or sell teaching materials. There is no prohibition on students bringing their own study materials onto campus. If students have sufficient ability to learn, they can bring relevant study materials purchased by themselves to school according to their own learning needs.
