GEM Index falls more than 1%, CPO concept stocks plunge significantly.

The index weakened, with the ChiNext Index falling more than 1%, the Shanghai Composite Index down by 0.82%, and the Shenzhen Component Index dropping 0.66%. CPO, banks, military industry, semiconductor and other sectors led the decline, with nearly 1900 stocks in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Beijing markets falling.
