AI application software company C3.ai announced its performance for the first quarter of the 2026 fiscal year: quarterly revenue was $70.3 million, with subscription revenue of $60.3 million, accounting for 86% of total revenue for the quarter. GAAP gross profit for the quarter was $26.4 million with a gross margin of 38%. Non-GAAP gross profit for the quarter was $36.3 million with a non-GAAP gross margin of 52%. The company completely restructured its sales and service departments, including appointing experienced new leadership, to ensure C3 AI resumes rapid growth and improves customer success rates, and also appointed a new CEO. Looking ahead to the second quarter of the 2026 fiscal year, the company expects to achieve revenue of $72 million to $80 million.
