Chongqing Municipality: An additional 135 million yuan budget funding has been allocated for the replacement subsidy for old cars and electric bicycles in October 2025.

Chongqing Municipal Commerce Commission issued a notice on the supplementary funding for the continuous implementation of the subsidy policy for replacing old cars and electric bicycles with new ones by 2025. It mentioned that an additional budget of 135 million yuan will be allocated for the subsidy program in October 2025, with 30 million yuan for scrapping and renewing cars, 100 million yuan for replacing cars, and 5 million yuan for replacing old electric bicycles. The budget implementation will follow the principles of "total amount control, first-come, first-served, and stop when used up".
