Yiwei Lithium Energy's "Longquan No. 2" all-solid-state battery successfully off the production line, targeting fields such as humanoid robots, low-altitude aircraft, and AI.
According to a news release from EVE Energy Co., Ltd. today, on September 2, the Chengdu production base of the EVE Energy Co., Ltd. Solid-State Battery Research Institute was officially unveiled, and the "Longquan No. 2" solid-state battery was successfully produced. The base, once fully operational, will have an annual production capacity of nearly 500,000 battery cells. The construction of the base is divided into two phases, with the first phase scheduled to be completed by December 2025, capable of manufacturing 60Ah batteries; the second phase is planned to achieve an annual production capacity of 100MWh by December 2026. The "Longquan No. 2" solid-state battery produced this time has a capacity of 10Ah, with a high energy density of 300Wh/kg and a volumetric energy density of 700Wh/L, mainly targeting high-end equipment applications such as humanoid robots, low-altitude aircraft, and AI.
