The first batch of overseas travelers in Henan Province can now enjoy on-the-spot tax refund for shopping before departure.

On August 29, the first batch of overseas travelers in Henan province began to enjoy the "buy now, refund immediately" service for shopping before departure, bringing more convenience for overseas travelers. In order to further facilitate overseas travelers to shop in Henan, Zhengzhou Dennis David City and Zhenghong City were selected as the first batch of pilot tax refund stores for the "buy now, refund immediately" service. The shopping limit for tax refunds processed under the "buy now, refund immediately" model is up to 220,000 yuan, aiming to better convert "inbound traffic" into "consumption growth". Since the national promotion of the optimized departure tax refund policy this year, Henan has released policy dividends through expanding the coverage of tax refund stores and providing accurate tax services. In the first 7 months of this year, Henan province has refunded 565,000 yuan to overseas travelers, with tax refund sales amounting to 14.62 million yuan, both nine times higher than the total of the previous year.
