Anhui will waive the fees for highway debris removal services.
Starting from September 20th, Anhui will waive the fees for towing and crane services for clearing and rescuing vehicles on the highways within the province. The waived service fees include towing and crane operation fees for breakdown and accident vehicles. For vehicles stranded on the mainline of the highway due to electrical circuit, mechanical failure, or accident reasons, or for unmanned vehicles due to driver injury, the clearing and rescue organization should follow the principle of "timely elimination of road traffic risks." They should tow the breakdown vehicles to the nearest highway exit or service area for free, and tow the accident vehicles to the designated location of the public security traffic management department for free. Vehicles stranded on the mainline due to reasons such as lack of fuel that are not related to breakdown or accident do not fall within the scope of free rescue. When the clearing and rescue organization conducts highway clearing and rescue operations, if it is deemed necessary to lift up the breakdown and accident vehicles, the crane fees will be waived.
