Yiwei lithium solid-state battery production base in Chengdu officially inaugurated.
According to EVE Energy, on September 2, 2025, the EVE Energy Solid-State Battery Research Institute in Chengdu officially opened its production base, and the "Longquan No. 2" all-solid-state battery was successfully produced. The Chengdu base has a total area of approximately 11,000 square meters, with an annual production capacity of nearly 500,000 battery cells after full production. The base is divided into two phases of construction, with the first phase scheduled to be completed in December 2025 and equipped with the ability to manufacture 60Ah batteries; the second phase is planned to achieve an annual production capacity of 100MWh by December 2026. The "Longquan No. 2" produced this time is a 10Ah all-solid-state battery with a high energy density of up to 300Wh/kg and a volumetric energy density of 700Wh/L, mainly targeting high-end equipment applications such as humanoid robots, low-altitude aircraft, and AI.
