American billionaire and CEO of Salesforce, Marc Benioff, recently revealed in a podcast interview that due to the involvement of artificial intelligence agents, the company has cut approximately 4,000 customer support positions, reducing from the original 9,000 to around 5,000 people. Benioff stated that artificial intelligence agents have completed 30% to 50% of the company's work, with two roles particularly likely to be automated by artificial intelligence agents: support and sales. By eliminating human labor and adopting advanced technology, Salesforce has reduced support costs by 17% to date.
