The ceremonial artillery position is centered on the archway of Zhengyangmen, also known as Qianmen, and is aligned with Beijing's central axis, spreading out to the northeast and northwest in a cross shape. The artillery is set at a 30-degree angle, creating a majestic and powerful visual effect. There are a total of 56 cannons on both sides, with 28 cannons on each side firing simultaneously during the ceremony, alternating between the two sides to create a total of 80 shots, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people's resistance against Japanese aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. The "People's Republic of China's welcoming artillery" used in this event is 4 meters long, 3.5 meters wide, and weighs 750 kilograms, with a magnificent appearance that showcases national confidence and state dignity.
