On the morning of September 2, Wang Zhiqing, Secretary of the Party Group and Chairman of China Eastern Airlines Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as "China Eastern Airlines"), held talks with Wu Lei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shanghai Electric Group, to discuss deepening cooperation and promoting green collaborative development. Wang Zhiqing stated that China Eastern Airlines looks forward to deep integration with Shanghai Electric's technological research and development capabilities, leveraging its own market application scenario advantages, to jointly promote the large-scale and commercial application of green fuels in the aviation field. Wu Lei mentioned that Shanghai Electric has developed core technologies, key equipment, engineering design, and total contracting capabilities in the field of green hydrogen-based fuels, covering green electricity, green hydrogen, biomass gasification, and green fuel synthesis, which can provide clean and sustainable fuel supply solutions for the aviation industry. Shanghai Electric hopes to strengthen communication and collaboration with China Eastern Airlines, using technological innovation as a link to jointly promote high-quality development of the aviation industry.
