Equity fund issuance enthusiasm continues to increase, with 85 new products issued in September.
Entering September, the enthusiasm for new issuance of equity funds continues to rise, and presents a trend of "blossoming in multiple areas". Choice data shows that in September, the number of funds to be launched will reach as high as 124, with 85 of them being equity funds, accounting for nearly 70%. On September 1st alone, 57 funds started selling, with 47 of them being equity funds. Industry insiders believe that the new issuance boom is closely related to the strong policy support and market performance. "The market has been strong this year, and investors' attitudes towards some outstanding equity funds are much more enthusiastic compared to the past two years," said a wealth management manager at a bank in Shanghai. As of September 1st, the stock fund index and equity fund index have both hit nearly three-year highs, with gains of around 50% over the past year.
