The French central bank governor said in a statement on Tuesday that price increases have been "very well controlled." Previous data showed that the eurozone inflation rate rose slightly to 2.1%. Regarding the situation in France, he said that the improvement in economic growth in the second quarter means that the full-year economic outlook will at least reach the central bank's forecast of 0.6%.
