According to reports, the Baltic Dry Index fell to its lowest level in over a week, with freight rates for all types of ships falling. The Baltic Dry Index fell by 38 points, or 1.88%, to 1986 points, hitting its lowest level since August 22. The Capesize Index fell by 75 points to 2874 points. Capesize daily earnings fell by $619, to $23,836. The Panamax Index fell by 49 points, or 2.7%, to 1764 points. Panamax daily earnings dropped by $437, to $15,876. The Supramax Index fell by 1 point, to 1466 points, ending a 20-day streak of increases.
