The Hong Kong Jockey Club: Believes that horse racing can bring more tourists to Hong Kong.

On September 2, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges, stated that horse racing in Hong Kong has become an essential experience for tourists visiting the city. He believes that the upcoming new racing season will attract even more visitors to Hong Kong. Engelbrecht-Bresges said, "Last year, we attracted around 196,000 Mainland Chinese tourists. With our newly invested facilities and new experiences created for tourists, I believe there will be a 20% to 30% increase in the coming year."
