Emerging market assets narrow their decline

The US ISM manufacturing index was released earlier. The yield on the US 10-year Treasury fell to close to 4.26%, with the overall increase narrowing to less than 4.0 basis points during the day. The yield on the two-year US Treasury fell below 3.64%, with the overall increase less than 2.5 basis points, trading around 3.66% before the data was released. The US dollar index fell to close to 98.200 points, with a overall increase of 0.52% during the day; the Bloomberg dollar index narrowed its increase to 0.41%, falling below 1206 points.
