Bill Purse, Director of the U.S. Federal Housing Finance Agency, stated that the Trump administration is considering selling about 5% of the shares of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. He added that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have a potential value of between $500 billion and $700 billion for the U.S. government.
