Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijjrt expressed before his departure to Beijing on the 2nd, local time, that in the past decade, Hungary has achieved brilliant economic achievements, with one of the most important resources being Hungary's position as a crossroads between East and West economies. Hungary is interested in cooperation between Eastern and Western civilizations, and has already demonstrated significant advantages from such cooperation. Szijjrt stated that this trip would discuss with Chinese diplomats and businesses on how to develop economic cooperation between Hungary and China, attract Chinese investments, and how Hungary can become a bigger winner in the cooperation between Eastern and Western civilizations. Currently, economic, security, and tense situations are leading the world towards blocs again, which is not in Hungary's interest. Hungary hopes to rebuild global cooperation based on mutual respect. Szijjrt will represent Hungary at the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese people's war against Japanese aggression and the world's anti-fascist war.
