Shanghai City's "Food Safety White Paper for Rest Assured Takeout" released, nearly 1/4 of users opt for "Takeout Specialty Stores".

On September 2, at the launch ceremony of the 2025 Shanghai Yangpu District Food Safety Promotion Week, the "Shanghai Food Safety Joint Committee" and the Yangpu District Market Supervision Administration jointly guided the release of the "Shanghai 'Assured Takeout' Food Safety White Paper," which was jointly compiled by the Shanghai Finance University Digital Economy Research Institute and Meituan. The white paper shows that there is no necessary correlation between "no dine-in" and "ghost delivery," and nearly one-fourth of the respondents are willing to accept "independent takeout specialty stores."
