The Chinese company completes the acquisition of South Korean company's polarizing film business.

China's Haosheng Technology Group, controlled by Hengmei Optoelectronics, signed a delivery document with South Korea's Samsung SDI on the 1st, officially completing the acquisition and delivery of Samsung SDI's polarizer business. Hengmei Optoelectronics stated that the scope of this transaction includes Samsung SDI's polarizer production lines, business, personnel, and intellectual property in South Korea and China. According to the disclosure document released by Samsung SDI, the transaction amount is approximately 1.12 trillion Korean won, including the sale of Samsung SDI's polarizer film production and sales business in Cheongju and Suwon, South Korea, as well as 100% of the shares of Samsung Electronics Materials Co., Ltd.
