India's main stock indexes continued to rise for the second consecutive day, with heavyweight companies like Reliance Industries and financial services companies seeing their stock prices go up. The NSE Nifty 50 index rose by 0.5% to 24,738.40 points, while the SENSEX index rose by 0.4% to 80,724.97 points. The local stock market outperformed its regional peers, with the Morgan Stanley Capital International Asia Pacific Index remaining mostly unchanged. Reliance Industries contributed the most to the index's gains, rising by 2.1%. Out of the 50 constituent stocks, 40 rose while 10 fell.
