China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Digital Economic Cooperation Platform Launched in Tianjin

Today, the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization digital economy cooperation platform was officially launched in Tianjin. The National Development and Reform Commission and the National Bureau of Statistics stated that they will continue to strengthen the multi-dimensional and multi-level digital economy cooperation ties between cities, enterprises, universities, and think tanks of various countries. Officials at the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization digital economy cooperation platform unveiling ceremony said that they will focus on the resource endowment, industrial advantages, and cooperation needs of Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries, strengthen supply and demand docking, deepen ecological cooperation, and attract the active participation of multiple entities in the platform construction. They will actively promote the "hard connectivity" of digital infrastructure, "soft connectivity" of data rules and standards, and "heart-to-heart connectivity" of digital economy talent among Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries, plan and implement a number of landmark projects and "small yet exquisite" livelihood projects. They will continue to strengthen the multi-dimensional and multi-level digital economy cooperation ties between cities, enterprises, universities, and think tanks of various countries, working together with Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries to strengthen digital empowerment and achieve industrial upgrading.
