Chery Group sold 242,700 cars in August, including 129,500 for export, setting a new record for monthly exports.

In August, Chery Group sold 242,736 cars, an increase of 14.6% year-on-year. Among them, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. sold 230,752 cars, an increase of 12.3% year-on-year. The group sold 7,218 new energy vehicles, an increase of 53.1% year-on-year; exported 129,472 cars, an increase of 32.3% year-on-year, setting a new record for monthly exports. From January to August, Chery Group sold a total of 1,727,299 cars, an increase of 14.5% year-on-year.
