Shanghai Futures Exchange: Four new types of products including crude oil asphalt futures opened to qualified foreign investors.

On September 1st, the Shanghai Futures Exchange issued a notice stating that with the approval of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, starting from September 10, 2025, the Shanghai Futures Exchange will further expand the range of tradable products for qualified overseas institutional investors and Renminbi qualified overseas institutional investors. The following commodity futures and options contracts will be newly opened: 1. Crude oil asphalt futures contracts. 2. Fuel oil, crude oil asphalt, and pulp options contracts.
