On the early morning of September 2nd, President Sassou of the Republic of the Congo arrived in Beijing by plane to attend the 80th anniversary commemoration of the Chinese People's Anti-Japanese War and the World Anti-Fascist War victory. President Sassou has visited China 17 times, including attending the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation and the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation. More than 60 years ago, President Sassou also visited China as one of the first young people from the Republic of the Congo.
