China Telecom and Alibaba signed a strategic cooperation agreement: deepening cooperation in areas such as cloud and AI infrastructure.

On the afternoon of August 31st, China Telecom and Alibaba held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Hangzhou. Ke Ruiwen, Chairman of China Telecom, Wu Yongming, CEO of Alibaba Group, Tang Ke, Vice General Manager of China Telecom, and Li Jin, Vice President of Alibaba Group, witnessed the signing. Hu Zhiqiang, Assistant General Manager of China Telecom, and Xiang Huangmei, Vice President of Alibaba Group, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. According to the agreement, the two parties will deepen cooperation in the areas of cloud and AI infrastructure, new service industry e-commerce, and social value innovation. They will also focus on key industries, jointly create integrated solutions for digital and AI applications, leverage global service capabilities, and jointly serve Chinese companies going global.
