Guizhou's computing power empowers more than 160 film and television works to achieve "rendering acceleration."
Walking into the Gui'an Supercomputing Center, on the big data visualization platform, the real-time working status of 715 supercomputing devices is displayed in full view. Li Beihong, the executive director and general manager of Gui'an New Area Science and Technology Industry Development Co., Ltd., responsible for operating the Gui'an Supercomputing Center, stated that up to now, the center has provided rendering computing power support for more than 160 film and television works, becoming one of the largest film and television rendering centers in southwest China. As the "most powerful brain" in Guizhou, the Gui'an Supercomputing Center currently has 1200 high-performance GPUs and CPUs, 1.3PB of distributed storage resources, and peak computing power of 30PFlops. Today, this "digital fortress" is supporting the innovative development of the Chinese film and television industry with unprecedented strength.
