The 2025 China Urban Planning Annual Conference, organized by the Chinese Urban Planning Society, was held in Shenyang on the 30th. Qin Haixiang said at the meeting that some existing urban planning policies, laws, and standards were formed during the period of rapid urban expansion and are no longer suitable for the development needs of improving the quality of existing stock.
