On August 30, 2025, at 19:10, the meteorological station in Wuhan City, Hubei Province upgraded the heavy rain warning signal to red. In the past hour, Wuhan central area, Hongshan Street and Xinzhou Old Street, as well as surrounding areas have experienced 40-70 mm of rainfall. Due to the continuous impact of strong rain clouds, it is expected that in the next 3 hours, the aforementioned areas and surrounding areas will continue to receive rainfall, with accumulated rainfall expected to exceed 150 mm. The maximum hourly rainfall intensity will be 40-70 mm, accompanied by scattered thunderstorms. Local gusts of 8-10 on the Beaufort scale are expected, with a high risk of mountain torrents, geological disasters, urban and rural waterlogging, and flooding in small and medium-sized rivers.
