The sales of gold jewelry increased by more than 6 times year-on-year, and pearl jewelry increased by 4 times. Sales of beauty and skincare products such as toner and perfume increased more than 2 times. Sales of sports equipment such as running shoes and sports t-shirts increased by 5 times. Premium flowers represented by Disney-themed bouquets and Wenbo-themed new Chinese-style bouquets have become the mainstream choice for consumer gifts, driving Meituan's flower sales to a new high. From this year's Qixi Festival, gifts tend to be diversified and of higher quality, shifting from sending flowers to all categories, driving significant growth in sales of high-unit price categories such as digital computers, beauty and skincare, and jewelry. Showing a trend of "increased order volume and average order value". With Qixi gifts moving from flowers and chocolates to "flash purchase and give everything", instant retail has become an important source of business growth for major brands and retailers. On Qixi Festival, more than 500 beauty, 3C, fast-moving consumer goods, department store, liquor brands, and retailers such as Huawei, Sephora, Watsons, All Cotton Era, and Kettle Wine saw their sales on the platform increase exponentially year-on-year.
