The qualification rate of our country's health food random inspections has exceeded 99.4% for five consecutive years.
Journalists learned from a food safety special news conference held by the General Administration of Market Supervision this afternoon. In recent years, China's health food industry has been steadily developing. Over the past 5 years, a total of 175,000 batches of health food have been randomly inspected nationwide, and timely measures such as removal, recall, and penalties have been taken for any substandard products found during inspections, effectively preventing safety risks. All health food production enterprises nationwide have already equipped food safety supervisors and food safety staff, ensuring the quality and safety of health food. The rate of substandard inspections has been consistently below 0.6% for 5 consecutive years. Since 2020, market supervision departments have achieved full coverage of inspections of all in-production enterprises nationwide, with a total of 2520 completed inspections, identifying over 26,000 issues, all of which have been rectified.
