State Administration of Foreign Exchange: China's foreign exchange market totaled 28.28 trillion yuan in July.

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, statistics from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange show that in July 2025, the total turnover of China's foreign exchange market (excluding currency pairs market, the same below) reached 28.28 trillion yuan (equivalent to 3.96 trillion US dollars). Among them, the bank-customer market turnover was 4.06 trillion yuan (equivalent to 0.57 trillion US dollars), while the interbank market turnover was 24.22 trillion yuan (equivalent to 3.39 trillion US dollars). The spot market accumulated turnover was 9.47 trillion yuan (equivalent to 1.33 trillion US dollars), while the derivative market accumulated turnover was 18.81 trillion yuan (equivalent to 2.63 trillion US dollars).
