TSMC accelerates 1.4nm advanced process, new factory to commence construction in October.

TSMC plans to build a new factory with an advanced 1.4nm process. Construction is expected to start in October with a total investment of 1.2 to 1.5 trillion New Taiwan Dollars. The first two factory buildings are scheduled to start production in 2028, with the possibility of further advancements to 1nm in the future.
