According to the Wise Finance APP, on August 29th, the Hong Kong Interbank Offered Rate (HIBOR) generally fell. The overnight HIBOR was reported at 4.00012%, up 1.786 basis points, the highest since May 2nd; the one-week HIBOR fell by 9.143 basis points to 3.61405%, and the two-week HIBOR fell by 15.512 basis points to 3.49262%. The one-month HIBOR related to mortgages stopped rising for the third consecutive time, reporting 3.29655%, a decrease of 0.994 basis points; while the three-month HIBOR, reflecting bank funding costs, was reported at 3.29583%, a decrease of 1.137 basis points.
